Advancements in construction technologies system will change the way we built as new Industrialize Building Systems makes a lot of difference in terms of cost, labour intensity and time to complete a project, for example, if you are making a single floor house or building, generally it involve, diggings a big deep hole for the footing that involves the Pad at the bottom of the pit, then a stump to take ground beams or another concrete pad or ground beam before anything goes higher, this involve machineries, labourers like carpenters, bar benders and concreting just to reach ground level.
Modern construction system use a Raft foundation which is basically a slab of reinforce concrete on the well compacted ground.
Conventional construction ways the comes the columns, the beams and the brickworks to cement renderings, this involve lots of skilled workers like carpenters for the formwork, bar bender for steel reinforcements, concreting with vibrations if they do not know what is a Self Compacting Concrete. The beams are the same with more formworks and shoring and then the brickworks and cement rendering all this is time consuming and expensive and needs so much skill workers. Not to mention this can have ugly surface of cement rendering is not done well, always have hairlines cracks, afraid of cyclone and brick wall collapsing is always the major death and injuries factors in quakes.
Newer IBS ( Industrialize Building System ) also come with AAC blocks and panels, Lightweight solid panels with Polysyrene mix, Solid Concrete Precast panels, Precast modules which are good as all are systematically manufactured in factory environments but involves logistic and lifting to construct or install and it is also not cheap.
Now let’s comes to my modern innovative construction SIP (Stay In Place) mold or formwork casting system, there are some other casting methods that use reusable wooden formworks, plastic formworks, steel and aluminium formworks to cast the whole house or floors, fully reinforced structure, very good modern systems also as it also has no columns, no beams and no brickwork plus cement rendering which is the bane of construction nowadays but still need a basecoat skim coating and a finish coat skim coating, you also need to invest in the not so lasting expensive formworks.
But SIP is where a thin Fiber Cement Board ( or Mgo boards for internal surface ) is use as the mold or formwork that is not remove after concrete is pump in or infill and this sets what I call “SIP”, it is a 2′ x 4′ large 8 sq. ft ( 0.75 m2 ) or 610mm x 2440mm large 16 square feet mold or form which is hollow with a 4′ ( 100mm ) or 5″ ( 125mm ) simple Do It Yourself ( DIY ) sets with unskilled workers, there are then setup on my design of Strip Pad Raft Foundation ( SPRF ), aligned and clamp and load bearing or non-load bearing concrete ( please read below on lightweight concrete ) is infill and wall or house is ready for painting after joints putty touch up ( if single floor, small lowcost affordable houses which is my specialty I guaranteed that it will be fireproof, soundproof, cyclone proof and earthquake resistant for small landed one floor houses )
Of course reinforce can be inside SIP as well as all sockets of water pipe including the electrical conduits, all door frames and windows or openings in place before concrete is infill.
This Stay In Place ( SIP ) is 30% to 60% cheaper and many times faster to construct or to build and if people do not want to use it or at least try it out, I will be damn for wasting 12 years of my life to perfect this technology.

LCM A Malaysian Technology.
We all know that concrete is heavy and the No.1 ingredient usage for construction anywhere in the world today, but not many people knows that concrete’s density and compressive strength can be control. Cement is concretes main bonding agent and others are just fillers like sand and aggregates. In LCM, it is exactly the same only we use air as another filler, we can control it’s density by amount of tiny air pockets we add into the mix via foaming process.
We have developed a technology where we use a stable foaming agent and a foaming generator to create . Not only can we control concrete’s density precisely, we can control it’s strength as well. Normal Concrete has a density of 2400 kg /m3, LCM’s density range from 1800,1700, 1600 down to 300. This 16 type of densities have over a 100 type of mixes and can be applied onto so many applications that will change the way cement is use currently worldwide.
For the last 13 years, R and D has been done on multiple apply able possibilities ranging from low densities mix for heat insulation, thermal acoustic applications, void infilling, roof-deck insulations applications, bridge approach for undulating preventions, bridge decks, soft ground base for roads, for housing raft foundations and many more on infrastructure applications. Clay Bricks and cement bricks are successfully being replace by LCM proving its thermal and acoustic value, prefabricated load bearing panels, blocks and many other pre cast ad cast in-situ has been successfully applied.
LCM most successful methods to date is its house casting, you can cast a lightweight block or a lightweight panel but we recommend you cast a house instead as it is the same process but…, in pre-casting you need the ingredient, you need mold, you need manpower and most of all you need logistic and then skill labor to built it at site, LCM house casting is different, you set up Stay in Place Formwork ( LCM-SiPF) or Reusable Formwork (LCM-RF) at site and you cast, you PaintCoat (LCM-PC) that’s it. In whatever methods currently being use nothing can be compare to LCM house casting, not only is it economical, it is fast to built and heat resistant, soundproof and most of will not collapse, it may crack in case of earthquake.
An innovative new technology is being developed for residential, industrial and commercial building applications. Collaborative Research
The environment friendly technology, which also makes productive use of waste into an alternative building material called LCM. The technology is easily executed at the project site itself. LCM is even simpler to produce than ordinary concrete, for it compacts by itself and does not warrant vibration or compaction.
This new technology is the result of a recently completed commercial R&D program with UiTM, KUiTTHO, UTM and a few other agencies. This 2 year R&D program redeveloped the technology to a pre-pilot stage and included development of practical advanced manufacturing procedures and extensive materials and structural testing of the new product. The R&D program was supported by the Malaysian Government through an R&D START grant from the IRPA R&D Industry. All you need to obtain foam concrete are a foam generator and a foaming agent, as foamed concrete is simply a mixture of a cement mortar slurry with foam, which can be prepared in an ordinary concrete mixer, or even without it, if only a small quantity of the material is necessary.
Foam concrete is a mixture of cement, fine sand, water and a special foam, which once harden results in a strong, lightweight concrete containing millions of evenly distributed, consistently sized air bubbles or cells.
The density of foam concrete is determined by the amount of foam added to the basic cement, sand and water mixture. Foam concrete is both fire- and water-resistant. It possesses high (impact and air-borne) sound and thermal insulation properties.
Foam concrete is similar to conventional concrete as it uses the same ingredients. However, foam concrete differs from conventional concrete in that the use of aggregates in the former is eliminated. Foam aeration or bubbling agent is used to absorb humidity for as long as the product is exposed to the atmosphere, allowing the hydration process of the cement to continue for its ever-continuing strength development.

A MALAYSIAN TECHNOLOGY.
An innovative new technology has been developed for the construction of residential housing.
